Launch Therapy Center (Denham Springs, Louisiana)

Refresh and improve Launch’s facility through a mix of indoor repairs and exterior cleanup, including flooring and baseboard replacement, pressure washing and parking lot striping, ceiling tile and door repairs, trailer skirting installation, and possible roof repair support.

The Safety Place

Volunteers will support The Safety Place by constructing miniature Safety Town houses, installing door hardware, and completing painting projects throughout the facility.

Help improve the campus through a mix of exterior cleaning, landscaping, minor repairs, and restroom deep cleaning.

Volunteers will assist with exterior painting improvements at the Learning Center, including soffits, fascia boards, benches, and doors.

Friends of Hilltop Arboretum

Help prepare the nursery for PlantFest by organizing inventory, repotting and labeling plants, and cleaning and organizing nursery and display areas to ensure a welcoming shopping experience for visitors.

Iris Domestic Violence Center

Refresh the Iris campus through exterior pressure washing and window cleaning, with interior deep cleaning for high-traffic common areas, children’s spaces, kitchens, hallways, and other shared surfaces.

"Assist with activities like maintaining meadow pathways by trimming vegetative overgrowth,

removing woody encroachment, managing invasive or undesirable vegetation, collecting and

distributing native seed, and planting native wildflowers and other pollinator-friendly species."

Iris Domestic Violence Center

Prepare and paint both sides of the Administration Hallway with two coats, protecting the floors, trim, doors, and surrounding surfaces throughout the project.

The Safety Place

Volunteers will assist with constructing and assembling miniature wooden houses used within Safety Town to enhance safety education programming for students. Volunteers may also assist with door painting, facility touch ups, and door hardware installation depending on what we do not finish in September.

Gardere Community Christian School

Mix of safety-focused maintenance, playground cleaning, minor building repairs, and campus cleanup. Projects include sanding and sealing ramp handrails, hand-cleaning playground equipment, replacing ceiling tiles as needed, clearing debris, and refreshing indoor and outdoor spaces across the campus.

St George International School

Remove existing floor tile and prepare the area for future flooring improvements. The team will carefully clear debris and leave the space clean, safe, and ready for the next phase of work.
